Ju's research interests are in materials theory and modeling; the mechanical properties of nanostructured materials; cell mechanics; the structure and properties of metallic glass; transport, actuation and photonics; energy storage, conversion and catalysis; nanoscale patterning, self assembly and metamaterials; and multiscale modeling algorithms.
